Hiya!
We've got a new group of players coming in with a bunch of aged weapons which could use a little TLC. The cores are just fine, but they need to be refoamed.
Is there anyone out there, hopefully not far from the Superior, CO area, who is willing to do weapons repair for cash?
Alternatively, can anyone tell us where to find a local source for the appropriate type of pipe foam? We struck out at HomeDespot.
Thanks, Trace, et al

Ace hardwares often have it. Call ahead and ask for tan pipe insulation foam. If you're looking to build flatblades, the blue camp foam from walmart is ideal.

Jim/Faulker I hear the Ace on Broadway in Englewood has it, and found it there before (though that was awhile back).

The Ace on 104th and Federal usually has it and if they don't McGuckins in Boulder always does. In the freakishly unlikely event that they don't give me a call I can probably spare enough for a few long swords.

I was just at the Englewood ACE on Broadway and they did have it - but it's hard to find the right ACE. What you want is the A&A Tradin' Post, not the ACE Hardware next to JoAnn's. If you end up at the ACE Hardware, ask them for the A&A Tradin' Post, and they'll point you north on Broadway. It'll be down a little bit on the left if you're going north, and on the right if you're going south on Broadway.

It's north of Belleview on the west side (kinda near "Lucky U Motel")

We ended up at the Ace on 104th & Federal, and they had tons of the beige foam, sold in 6' lengths, so that worked out great!
Thanks for that, Trace

:-o The ACE on 104th and Federal has beige foam?
WHAT.
That is five minutes from where I live.
As opposed to the Broadway one, which is out in BFE for me. Drive of awfulness and the parking sucks too. x_o
Well, now I know where to get foam!
