Greetings and Salutations all,

Sorry for the late posting of this. I didn't realize until Sunday that the event is less than a week away. Below is the tavern menu that will be the standard for events as long as I am running the tavern. I will also be continuing the feast on Saturday night. This month it will be salad and pasta. I will be offering 2 kinds of noodles (1 long one, twisted), both cream and tomato sauces and grilled chicken breasts and sausage. The feast will cost $5 and there will be no IG price for it.

After this month I will also be offering entertainment in the tavern. I have contacted several local renaissance fair performers and am hoping to present Iris and Rose in August and Pandora Celtica in October. Both groups have expressed an interest and we are working out details. I also plan to offer IG events in September and either November or December depending on IG factors with huge prizes for the winners.

Below is the menu I am planning on using. It is more than a little unwieldy in this format so Shannon was nice enough to post a PDF version of a preliminary menu at http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/photo.php?pid=31233112&o=all&op=1&view=all&subj=111070762265853&aid=-1&id=1556349041 . All items have an IG and OOG price. The OOG price is basically my cost for providing the food and I tried to keep the IG price nominal (most prices are under a gold). If anyone has trouble paying either the IG or the OOG price please feel free to talk to me and we will work something out. No one should go hungry at NERO.

I look forward to seeing you all in the tavern.

Steve

Out of curiosity, will there be something we can pay out of game for unlimited? Like how Shannon does $5 for unlimited drinks? I've personally never had more than a few for the weekend, but I don't know how widespread that is. Main reason I'm asking is because it's kind of a hassle to bring two coinpurses, one for in game clink and one for out of game.

Excellent question. I will be running tabs for people who want to pay either before or after the event. When I ran this type of tavern in Austin most people would give me $10-20 and keep a tab open. When they ran out of money they would bring another $10-20 to the next event. Most people spent between 5 and 12 per event.
